Is Ritual a religious app?



Ritual is a wellbeing app, and we take an interfaith approach to spirituality. We don’t prescribe a singular path–or ask you to believe in anything in particular. We offer guided audio practices from secular leaders (authors, poets, professors) and religious leaders (pastors, theologians).

Is Ritual therapy?



No, Ritual is not therapy, and it’s not a replacement for mental health care. Instead, we’re a companion to that work. We offer guided audio practices and wellbeing tools designed to support reflection, emotional resilience, and spiritual connection—helping you deepen your self-awareness and stay grounded in daily life.

Getting Started

How do I download the app?



The Ritual app is currently available on Apple (iPhone and iPad) and Android (smartphone and tablet) devices. To download Ritual, go to the App Store on your Apple device or to Google Play on your Android device, and then search for Ritual: Wellbeing Practices.

How do I subscribe to Ritual?



Once you’ve downloaded the Ritual app and created your account, you’ll see the option to subscribe for full access. You can start with a 7-day free trial, no strings attached–after that, a Ritual subscription is $69.99 per year. You can cancel anytime.

How do I cancel my Ritual subscription?



If you subscribed to Ritual on an Apple device, you can cancel your subscription through the iTunes Store or your Apple Settings. Here’s a link with step-by-step instructions. If you subscribed to Ritual on an Android device, you can follow these instructions.

Can I get a refund?



Apple doesn't allow us to directly manage subscriptions or payments but they do have a process where you can request a refund. Here is a link with instructions from Apple on how to request a refund.

Why isn’t the app recognizing my subscription?



It might be because you’re not currently logged in with the same account that you used when you first subscribed to Ritual. For your subscription to be recognized, you need to use the same log-in mechanism. For example, if you originally signed up with Apple, make sure you're logged in with Apple. If you signed up with Google, make sure you’re logged in with Google. If you originally signed up with your email, make sure you’re using the same email address. How do I unsubscribe from Ritual emails?



There’s an Unsubscribe link in the footer of every Ritual email. If you tap that link and then confirm your choice, you’ll be automatically unsubscribed from all Ritual emails.
